Spiritual Tutoring

DESCRIPTION:  I offer customized study sessions for those seeking intensive, one-on-one support.  Spiritual Tutoring is ideal for those with busy or irregular work schedules.  One-on-one work is vital to those going through a personal crisis, change of career, or any significant life transition.  Spiritual Tutoring  also serves those who are not in crisis but desire a deeper sense of aliveness.  One-on-one, we can address your current goals and concerns and develop customized spiritual technology for releasing limiting beliefs and claiming greater love and joy.

TIME/DURATION:  Spiritual Tutoring is offered in 60 and 90-minute increments.  I offer substantial flexibility in scheduling, and offer evening as well as weekend hours.

LOCATION: In-person tutoring is offered at various locations throughout Marin County.  At my discretion, tutoring may also be conducted at the client's home or office.
 
OPTIONAL TELEPHONE TUTORING:  My tutoring services are also available  by phone and Skype, for those with a Skype account. 

SMALL GROUPS:  Spiritual Tutoring is wonderful for small groups (2-5) with common interests--families, business partners, or friends who may want to have fun and study spiritual principles together.  My hourly rates remain the same, whether the session is for one of you or five.

DESCRIPTION OF GROUP:  Based on the Twelve Powers, this monthly study and support group (nicknamed "12x12") is designed especially for those who seek guidance and community toward living a rich, full and dynamic life beyond mere sobriety. Beyond the powerlessness of the ego is the deep, abiding power of the Spirit!

The Twelve Powers is a metaphysical system of spiritual transformation developed by Charles Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity Movement.

Groups are confidential. There is no cross-talk.  The group format includes affirmative prayer, meditation, speaker shares, group shares, and introductory material concerning the power designated for the particular month.

Prior experience with 12 Step programs and/or basic Unity metaphysics is helpful but not required for participation in this group.

TIME/DURATION: This group meets every third Wednesday of each month from 7:15-9:15PM

LOCATION: Marin Sail and Power Squadron, 789 Hamilton Parkway, Novato, California 94949 (across the street from Unity in Marin)

FACILITATOR/HOST:  This group is hosted by Unity in Marin.  I  facilitate the group in my capacity as a Unity Teacher.   

FEE:  This group is offered  by UIM on a Love Offering basis.  Suggested love offering is$10-20.  At Unity-hosted events, no one is turned away for lack of funds.  For those who presently have the resources, you are encouraged to give more to help keep these services available to all who need it. 

2.    Transformational Spiritual Care - Healing Circle

DESCRIPTION OF GROUP: This is a weekly, ongoing spiritual support group for Kaiser staff, patients and their friends and family members to experience community and renewal during their rehabilitation stay.  Our Healing Circle is based on the transformational model of spiritual care engagement where presence, prayer, and music is shared, allowing the space for attendees to express and explore spiritual issues along their journey of transformation and healing.

TIME/DURATION: This circle meets every Sunday from 3:30-4:30PM.

LOCATION:  Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center, 975 Sereno Drive, Vallejo, CA 94589

FACILITATOR/HOST:  I facilitate this group in my capacity as the Spiritual Director of Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center, in Vallejo, California, where I am currently employed as an Independent Contractor. 

FEE:  Kaiser offers this transformational spiritual care service group FREE of charge to every one of its employees, patients, and their guests.  The group is not open for drop-in by the general public.  Please contact me directly if you are interested in starting a similar group in your hospital or other organization.

Burn & Release Intensives (COMING SOON!)

DESCRIPTION OF GROUP:  This upcoming year, I'll be offering half-day group intensives to further support you in your transformational process.  These Burn & Release Intensives are ceremonies for liberating ourselves from the “mind-forged manacles” of fear, anger, grief, pride, and self-doubt.
